Reviewer Submits Written (Inspection) Report to the IEC/Specialty College

From the date the Inspection Report is submitted to the IEC/Specialty College, the IEC/Specialty College has 90 days to respond to the PTRC

PTRC Makes Recommendation

(Based upon the IEC/Specialty College’s Review and Evaluation of the Inspection Findings)

AOA Approval Letter (with Cited Deficiencies) Sent to Program and OPTI within 2 weeks of the PTRC Decision

↓

Program Submits a Corrective Action Plan within 45 days of Receipt of Approval Letter to its OPTI OGME Committee

↓

OPTI Reviews the Plan and Submits Corrective Action Plan to AOA Division of Post-Doc Training within 30 days of Receipt of CAP

↓

Program Supplies IEC/Specialty College with Adequate Documentation of the Implementation of the CAP within 6 months of Acceptance of CAP by the Specialty College.
